The iPhone 16 may be Apple's "standard" model, but it shares the same A18 chip and Fusion camera architecture as the Plus. The compact 6.1" chassis means tighter internal spacing — flex cables are routed precisely, and there's less margin for error during reassembly. The new Camera Control button adds a mechanical component along the side frame that wasn't present in iPhone 15, requiring updated disassembly procedures. How is the iPhone 16 different from the 15 when it comes to repairs?

The iPhone 16 adds the Action button and Camera Control button — two new hardware components that the 15 doesn't have. The internal battery design also changed, and the camera module is physically larger due to the 48MP Fusion sensor. These differences mean iPhone 15 parts are NOT compatible with the 16, and repair procedures are different. We stock model-specific parts for both.

I dropped my iPhone 16 from a scooter in Canggu — screen is cracked but everything else works. How long to fix?

If it's just the display and the phone is otherwise functional, we can replace the screen in 1-2 hours. We always run a full diagnostic after scooter drops though — the impact can cause hidden damage to flex cables, the camera OIS system, or internal connectors that might show up days later. The diagnostic is included at no extra charge.
