The iPhone 15 Plus occupies a unique spot in Apple's lineup — it combines the large-screen experience with the more accessible A16 chip and standard camera system. Repair-wise, the 15 Plus shares its display size with the 15 Pro Max, but the internal layout is different: different battery shape, different camera module arrangement, and no Action button. Parts from the Pro Max are NOT compatible. The aluminum frame (versus the Pro's titanium) uses different adhesive and can be more susceptible to denting from impacts on Bali's hard surfaces. We stock 15 Plus-specific parts separately and follow the correct service procedures for this model.

Can I use iPhone 15 Pro Max parts in my 15 Plus since they're the same screen size?

No — despite both having 6.7" displays, the screen assemblies are NOT interchangeable. The 15 Pro Max display supports ProMotion 120Hz and Always-On Display, while the 15 Plus runs at standard 60Hz. The flex cable connectors and digitizer configurations are also different. We keep separate parts inventories for every model.

My iPhone 15 Plus screen is hard to read in Bali's bright sun after a repair elsewhere — can you fix that?

This usually means the previous repair used a low-quality OLED panel with poor peak brightness, or True Tone wasn't recalibrated. We can re-do the screen replacement with a premium panel that matches Apple's brightness specs — critical for Bali where you're often outdoors in direct sunlight. We also recalibrate True Tone so color temperature adjusts automatically.

Is the iPhone 15 Plus USB-C slower than the Pro? Does that matter for repairs?

The 15 Plus has USB-C 2.0 (up to 480Mbps) while the Pro models have USB 3.0 (up to 10Gbps). For repairs, the physical port module is similar but not identical — the Pro's USB 3.0 flex cable has additional data lines. We test the correct speed standard after every charging port repair to ensure your phone performs exactly as Apple intended.
